Mid Atlantic Air Museum's
21st Annual World War II Weekend

The Mid Atlantic Air Museum's 21 st Annual World War II Weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania was held on June 3, 4 and 5 2011. This show is like going back in time. It is a great place to see World War II Jeeps in settings as they would have appeared in the 1940's. In addition to the jeeps there are plenty of other vintage war vehicles and war birds like the B-29, B-17 and P-51 Mustangs to name just a few flying overhead and displayed on the ground. Adding to the realism is the large gathering of reenactors represented as military and civilian from the period. You can walk through the many encampents and see skirmishes between the german and american military reenactors. There is even a recreated French village which you can walk through which becomes part of the battle scene. And if that's not enough there's even USO shows for your entertainment. All in all it's a great family event and a wonderful way to spend the weekend taking in all the jeeps. Enjoy all of our pics and hope to see you at next years show.

For more information on the show you can visit the Mid Atlantic Air Museum's website for directions and show times at their website: http://maam.org/maamwwii.html

Enjoy the pics!
