1955 6-266 4WD Pick-Up Truck

Was told it was a railroad work truck of some sort, and it has the heavy duty bumpers and equipment to show for it! Koenig Model 100 winch, heavy tow hook with trailer wiring, and a spot light as well!

GOOD: Truck is almost all original. 226 engine runs, but has a miss. Truck drives and stops, and shifts well, but driver's door latch isn't there, so it's an adventure. Many new parts, including newer tires, shocks and leaf springs on all four corners. Brakes gone through, front wheels rebuilt. Has Dualmatic lock-outs on front hubs. New steering wheel included. Beefy truck! Locking Jerry can included.

BAD: Winch not working, PTO shifter and drive shaft come with. Front drive shaft removed, included. Paint flaky throughout. Seat is a decent replacement, not sure from what. Previous owner completed a lot of goofy wiring. Most things work, but not how you'd think.

UGLY: Needs window and latch work on driver's door. New door glass for both sides included. Interior finishing isn't.

This failed project wants a good home with a loving owner. Very strong foundation for a restoration (PLEASE keep the engine original!), or put it all back together and keep it as a yard dog. Not many show up with the original drive train, in my experience. Will work with new owner on updating title.
