47 WOODY WAGON SURVIVOR/BARN FIND

Here's a very solid unrestored wagon with all of it's original parts, the only thing missing is the surfboard. This is a two wheel drive model with the L-134 engine and column shift three speed with overdrive. The engine was rebuilt sometime before the vehicle was retired and has a rebuild tag on the block as seen in the pictures. It fires up but the wagon hasn't been on the road for many years and will need attention to brakes etc. before being roadworthy. There is some surface patina but absolutely no cancer in the body, the floor pans are rock solid and the undercarriage is just as clean as my Dad's nine year old Grand Cherokee. The front arm rests were replaced at some point but I found one of the original ones in the back and was able to locate another one that came off a 47 truck. About the only disappointment is the headliner, due to a family of mice getting in there while it was in the barn. The paint is faded but will polish up as I tried it in a small spot, basically the whole vehicle could use a good cleaning. VIN #19000 it doesn't show very well in the picture.

Here's a list of the good stuff

Still retains all of the original knobs, switches, handles, etc. & the key still works in the door lock front and back. Five factory rims with decent paint including yellow pinstripe Five hubcaps and four stainless trim rings, spare doesn't have the trim ring Factory spare tire cover as seen in the picture it is worn but has no tears or seam splits. When was the last time you saw one of these? Original rubber floor mat up front, it has a couple of splits in it but is complete Both of the original rubber door sills that are stamped Willys Overland, I removed them to check underneath and haven't replaced the screws as seen in the picture. Original rubber pads on the clutch, brake, and gas pedal. Check out the steering wheel, not perfect but hard to find a nicer one in a 47 jeep. Nice paint on the dashboard and a great looking instrument cluster. Original heater with the factory decals still intact. Factory fram oil filter with original decals Has all of the original seats including the third row jump seat although the front seats will need repair or recovered All of the original interior wood panels are still intact, I have the screws for the ones missing in the picture.
