This 1979 Jeep CJ5 is a modified example featuring a fiberglass body finished in white over a
black interior. Power comes from a 304ci V8 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and 2-speed transfer case, while additional
features include a roll bar, custom bumpers, auxiliary lighting, chrome grille cover, and 38.5? Super Swampers on chrome rims. The truck was purchased two years ago, who has since driven it only 200 miles and added further modifications including black wheel flares, a custom audio system, and wheels and tires. This CJ5 is offered with a clean Illinois title. The fiberglass body is finished in white and comes with the black bikini top shown in the gallery below. This Jeep is equipped with dual chrome exhaust tips and front grille, black bumpers and roll bar, and two front utility lights. New 15 inch pro comp wheels with new 37 inch Maxxis Creepy Crawlers. The interior features black upholstery on the front seats and rear bench, black carpet, and floor mats with Jeep scripts. A fire extinguisher is mounted on the roll bar behind the driver's seat. Approximately 60k miles are indicated on the 5-digit odometer. Stereo equipment installed during current ownership included a marine-rated JL Audio receiver with Bluetooth, Focal speakers mounted in a custom box under the dash, and a JL Audio amplifier. The 304ci AMC V8 is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and 2-speed transfer case sending power to all four wheels. The engine wears Edelbrock rocker covers and was rebuilt under previous ownership. Oil change was performed in June 2018.
