1963 Willys Jeep CJ5 Daily driver AMC V8 304
Selling this CJ5 to raise money to pay for hospice care for the owner so know that you are
buying it for a good cause.
This Jeep needs almost nothing to be ready to be daily driven. It has the AMC 304 that runs
absolutely perfect (it's silky smooth), 3 speed manual transmission (T15) with a smooth clutch and Dana 20 transfer case. Engine is recently
tuned up, new hoses and belts. Has HEI but is otherwise stock. It has a 4" Rancho lift, 31x10.50R15 tires on aluminum rims (all 5 tires match and are practically brand new). Paint is shiny and in
great condition; it was dusty when I took the pictures so it does not look as nice as it really is.
The owner is a retired engineer and lifetime Jeep fanatic. This Jeep has been extremely well
taken care of and is ready to be daily driven or used as a weekend cruiser. A test drive shows a little bit of play in the steering and
brakes are a little bit spongy but work well. There is one spot of rust bubbling under the paint about the size of dime on the passenger side
(you can see it in the pictures). It has a minor fluid leak or two but we all know Jeeps don't
leak, they just mark their spot. Other than that, this Jeep is awesome.
